Finally, a commitment to transparency and operational rigor to ensure everyone’s money does what it’s supposed to do.
Role Description:
We’re looking for a strategic, systems-minded Content Designer to help shape how Lead communicates in-product and across our platform. You’ll partner with designers, PMs, and engineers to craft the language that guides people through our tools—simplifying financial workflows, clarifying intent, and building trust.
This role is equal parts UX writing and content strategy. You’ll define how we speak inside our products, while also helping connect that voice to our brand across channels. You’ll contribute to naming systems, voice and tone guidance, information architecture, and the documentation that helps us scale content with quality. You’ll also help explore how AI can augment content system creation, streamline content operations, and support the development of internal AI-assisted content tooling.
This is a fit for someone who treats writing as design—bringing structure to ambiguity, simplifying complex workflows, and sweating the precision in every moment of the experience. You’ve got a proven track record blending compelling marketing sensibility with in-product content, and you have a solid grasp of consumer financial and banking concepts.
In this role you will:
Collaborate Across Teams: Collaborate closely with designers, PMs, engineers, and marketers to create clear, intuitive user experiences across internal tools and client-facing surfaces.
Write Clear, Effective Product Content: Write inclusive, precise content for product flows, microcopy, in-app messaging, and system feedback that helps users take confident action.
Shape Product Voice and Content Standards: Shape the product voice by contributing to naming conventions, taxonomy, voice and tone guidance, and UX copy standards.
Strengthen Information Architecture: Help define and refine information architecture across product surfaces, ensuring content structure, labels, hierarchy, and navigation patterns are intuitive, scalable, and consistent.
Connect Product and Brand Expression: Partner with design and brand to keep tone and messaging consistent across product and marketing content.
Partner with Legal and Compliance: Partner closely with legal and compliance teams to develop content that meets regulatory requirements while maintaining clarity, quality, and a strong user experience.
Use Research and Data to Improve Content: Use research, user feedback, and data to inform content decisions and iterate quickly.
Build Scalable Content Systems: Contribute to design system documentation and help scale content guidance, patterns, and workflows across teams.
Explore AI-Enabled Content Workflows: Use AI tools to accelerate content exploration, taxonomy development, first-pass drafting, content audits, and documentation, while applying strong editorial judgment and systems thinking.
Help Shape AI Content Tooling: Partner with Design and Product to define requirements for AI-assisted content tools, prompt frameworks, and workflows that improve consistency, speed, and content quality at scale.
Champion Quality in a Regulated Environment: Uphold a high bar for clarity, accuracy, compliance, and craft while supporting velocity in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
5+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or product content strategy.
A portfolio that shows sharp thinking, systems awareness, and thoughtful language in complex product spaces.
Strong grasp of UX principles and how words shape behavior, especially in transactional or data-heavy interfaces.
Experience shaping or contributing to information architecture, naming systems, taxonomy, and scalable content frameworks.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make progress in evolving or incomplete problem spaces.
Experience building or contributing to scalable content systems and cross-functional workflows.
Excellent communication skills, especially when explaining rationale, options, and tradeoffs.
Experience with AI-supported content workflows, including tools such as ChatGPT or Claude, Notion AI, and AI-assisted research or documentation tools for drafting, synthesis, taxonomy exploration, and content operations.
Ability to use AI thoughtfully to augment content system creation and help define effective AI content tooling, while maintaining a high bar for editorial quality, usability, and trust.
Uses AI tools in accordance with company policies for data privacy, security, compliance, and confidentiality, with sound judgment about what inputs and outputs are appropriate for regulated product environments.
Experience in fintech, regulated environments, or enterprise tooling.
