We are looking for an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Colombo office. You will be responsible for ensuring the office environment is safe, well-maintained, fully stocked, and conducive to a high-performance fintech culture. This role requires strong vendor management skills, a hands-on attitude, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic fintech environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Oversee all aspects of day-to-day facilities management
Ensure the office is consistently clean, organised, and well-maintained
Manage office supplies inventory and proactively restock consumables, stationery, pantry items, and equipment
Conduct regular inspections and coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance
Vendor management; janitorial, greenery, maintenance, pantry, IT-related etc.
Ensure compliance with local workplace health and safety regulations
Track and renew relevant licenses, permits, and insurance policies
Plan and coordinate office events, team lunches, and all-hands setups as required
Create and maintain a comfortable and productive environment for a predominantly engineering workforce, many of whom work extended hours
Manage and track budgeting and financial reports

What You'll Bring

4+ years of experience in facilities management, office management, or a related role
Proven track record of managing multiple vendors simultaneously in a Grade A commercial or corporate building, preferably in a tech environment
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Excellent vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and office technology needs
Proactive problem-solver who can work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil is a plus)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup/fintech environment
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Relevant professional certifications preferred (e.g. Certified Facility Manager, British Institute of Facilities Management) are a plus
