Wealthsimple is a Canadian consumer finance app offering managed investing, self-directed stock and crypto trading, chequing and savings accounts, and tax filing to 3.6 million clients (excluding tax filers) with over C$155B in assets under administration as of Q2 2026. Its CIRO-regulated crypto arm supports USDC trading and multi-network self-custody withdrawals; in May 2026 it became the first Canadian financial institution to settle obligations with Visa Canada in USDC, and it is a consortium backer of Tetra's CADD, Canada's first regulated CAD-backed stablecoin.
